Garfield (2004) - Garfield Unintentionally Destroys The House/Gets Kicked Out

Scene taken from the 2004 live action Garfield film where a frustrated Garfield (Bill Murray) returns home from The Dog Show and unintentionally destroys his own house by causing a chain reaction by kicking Odie’s ball in a fit of anger and frustration over his jealously of Odie. When his owner Jon Arbuckle (Breckin Meyer), along with Odie, entered the house and saw what Garfield had done. He kicks Garfield out for the night.
But surprisingly, we never saw what actually happened between the 2 scenes. Suppose Jon got really angry with Garfield for what he done to his house and cleaned everything up all evening, then kicked Garfield out.

Bitter experiences drove Garfield and Jon apart. Garfield acted jealous and angry over Jon paying attention more to Goldie that it caused him to act selfish and unintentionally destroy Jon’s office that led him to be kicked out for his actions. Jon, on the other hand, justifiably punished Garfield by having him sleep outside because of Garfield’s bad behavior in unintentionally destroying his office. Both experiences is what indirectly caused Odie to run off that forced Garfield to undergo character development to save him after locking him outside and Jon to realize that he needed to be a better pet owner to both of them after his harsh actions caused Garfield to lock Odie out, Odie running off and getting captured by Happy, and Garfield to run off to make things right.

Garfield was incredibly pissed off about Odie, when he took over the situation. He was being a little bitch, that Garfield was being jealous towards Odie and violently tossed the ball and the ball wrecked the entire room. The ball hit the lamppost, tipping the toy cars, the bowling wreck the entire drawer cabinet and the books all fall on the floor. When Jon sees this with Odie, Garfield just smile. But, later at night, Jon has thrown Garfield out of the house, because, he was being scared of the dark. But, according to him, he was too lazy for trying to destroy his house. He was incredibly upset, provoked, pushed, prodded and driven mad. Jon can’t kicked Garfield out of his house, like he’s an animal. But, Garfield was an animal. After that, Odie ran away, after Garfield was being a bastard towards Odie by locking him outside the porch. What have he turned himself into. A complete monster. Why can’t Garfield who ran away instead of Odie? That would be horrible, because Garfield will be homeless in this street when nobody could look after him. That would be fucking dark, because, Jon won’t be able to find Garfield as always.

Man, I never noticed how unlikable Garfield is in this movie. I mean, he's always been a sarcastic jerk, but here, he's just despicable. He thinks he's John's master when it's the other way around, he's mean to Nermal, he bullies Luca, he physically and verbally abuses Odie, he locks Odie outside when he tries to comfort him, he's too selfish to share the spotlight with anyone and the list goes on. Don't get me wrong, there's some parts of the movie I like (this part is one of them), but I don't like what they did to Garfield himself. To quote the old woman from Madagascar, "You're a bad kitty!"
