I listened to this video while using the bathroom and I think Rabelais would have wanted it that way. The intro song is so fun 🙂

You're welcome. The video was made for a class project, but when I get the time I'd like to revisit the books and possibly give them a more thorough analysis.

Thanks! I know there is no relationship between the music and the story, but I love Yelle :).

We're working about this book with my french class and it's pretty hard to understand the whole story: there are so many quotes and I feel easily lost with all these weird words. I am french and I can tell you that the old french is quite hard to understand. You made a really great work! but the only thing I reproach you is the song( there is no relationship between Rabelais and Yelle) I think with a medieval song the result would be much better.

There is much occult wisdom hidden in the books. He had to hide much of his occult wisdom in satire and fantasy because the Roman Catholic Church which was incredibly powerful at the time would have had him severely punished. The scatalogical satire was deemed to be safe because the Church would only look vindictive and ridiculous for punishing such low brow humour. However there is serious occult wisdom hidden within the pages. Wisdom that the Catholic Church knew very well but obviously didn’t recognise in the work. The Roman Catholic Church has always been a Luciferian institution. It from its inception sought to hide certain knowledge and wisdom from mankind in order to keep him essentially terrified by the scriptures and the authority of the pontiff. The Vatican always sought to enrich itself by selling absolution and mercies and by raising taxes from the nobility, essentially to pay for crusades. However crusaders found out when setting off on a sacred crusade that they had to pay their own way and had to pay for many indulgences from the pope or the Holy Catholic See. Rabelais work is cited in the work of many occultists. The French occultist Eliphas Levi was aware of Rabelais occult wisdom. Rabelais Abbey Of Thelema can be seen drawn on extensively by Crowley in the twentieth Century. It is well to remember Crowley’s famous maxim ‘Do what thou will shall be the whole of the law’, which is first affirmed in the work of Rabelais.

Dude that french was so bad. A kid in elementary could do better. 😂

You're right. The French is not great, but it's also not Present-Day French. Remember, Rabelais was writing during the Middle French language period, a time at which the language was still fairly distant from what we recognize today both phonetically and grammatically.

at least thebuss is contributing meaningfully. What have you shared with others apart from comments that show your own pettiness and ignorance? Props to thebuss for the great video :-)
