Do you (or anyone else reading this) have a video or reliable source for care on new Caldonian Geckos? I’m really interested in getting a gargoyle gecko or a crested gecko, but I’m finding the research surprisingly more difficult then I expected.

Check out the channel Clint's Reptiles. He's done videos on all the New Caledonian Geckos, and gives a good basic overview of their care in each video. There are also a few websites that have care sheets that go into more detail. I think one of the better ones is called ReptiFiles. Also if you search something like "crested gecko care" or "gargoyle gecko care sheet" (or whichever one you want info on) you should get some good results. Just make sure you cross-reference whatever you read with other trusted sources. Hope this helps!

I did all my research on KZbin and Google and found a ton of helpful info from setting up enclosures to care guides. Ellesreptiles, tikisgeckos, Clint's, wickens, etc. I now keep 3 cresties and 2 gargs. Love them!

Does anyone know if you can keep gargoyle geckos in non-bioactive enclosures? Like can it just be a normal tank with no bugs and stuff?

You can keep gargoyle geckos in a non-bioactive enclosure as long as there is still lots to climb such as fake plants and fake vines and it's still has a big enclosure aswell you don't actually need bio-active but I prefer bio active myself it's more just personal preference you can keep them non bio active just make sure to still have them in a good set up. Also I like your drawings :)
