This game... I love it from the bottom of my heart. The forest level can be a little bit frustrating (it was for me) but I loved it anyway - the soundtrack is lovely. Still playing it, when have long driving home. Wonderful playthrough, truly a master :)

This game looks like it would cause me to tear my hair out in frustration over repeat deaths (that section of gameplay with the rooms full of spikes alone made me very nervous, lol), but you handle it without issue. Bravo.

Yellowblanka Thanks :) but I have to say, it isn't anywhere near as hard as it looks. It's a fair amount easier overall than your average Mega Man game for sure. The controls are really good.

Very fun game, though I agree that the translation is somewhat lacking, unfortunately. It was fan-translated for the GB, and the fan-translation is actually better than the official NES version. The SNES game is by far my favourite from this series, but for an NES title this one is pretty impressive for sure. :)

Marius Amber I think the Gameboy port also had a few exclusive levels, didn't it? I agree totally that Demon's Crest was the best of the three. I like them all a lot though

I bought the trilogy within a week of each other, just in time too. The games shot up in price about a month later.

The level at around the 18 min mark, how are you all of a sudden flying around for like 30 seconds without landing? Your at wing level 1, just as I am and I've been stuck there for awhile, I can only hover for a few seconds before I have to land, I'm very confused, any help would be appreciated, thank you. PS- I made it to the area in question to find out it's an auto scrolling type thing and you weren't doing some special trick to fly like that lol love your videos, they really do help, I've finally beaten a few games for the first time in my life in my 30's thank to you😃

The framing is so weird in this game. You either have to center it so the title screen and opening dialogue boxes are centered and leave the right side of the status bar I action stages cut off...or center it so you see the whole status bar and end up with a left-cocked title screen and opening dialogue. And there always seems to be a black gap on the left of the screen either way. Ugh. I hate how unaligned it is!
