... actually now that I have listened to a few more Within Temptation songs, I am stunned at how ... well many of them can represent Demona and the whole theme of anguish/despair/remorse... "Dark Wings", "A Demon's fate", "Swan Song

@@jimmy200570 she really is, also more songs from within temptation like “somewhere” referencing Goliath trying to find the Demona he loved all those years ago, “ice queen” with Demona bringing anguish with her rage and “what have you done”

O and the best of them: "The Truth Beneath the Rose", I think it's actually about the Catholic Church (the Rose presumably refers to the Rosary?) I am Jewish and think it's extremely fitting, no offense to anyone, but it also fits Demona perfectly.

I like the scene in S02E08 Vows, Young Demona loved Goliath very much 1000 years ago, she refused to betray him and saying she didn't want to be Future Demona. After the tragedy of the castle, she lost everything, hatred and despair gradually eroded her mind, and The Angels of The Night have become "Demona".

Excellent video, and you are right, the song fits remarkably well. I always believed Goliath and Demona belong together; the Goliath-Elisa line seemed kind of creepy to me. However, if they should ever get back together, I believe it would have to be preceded by a major remorse-inducing crisis on part of Demona.

I seriously agree...Demona and Goliath are my favorite couple, they're not perfect, but they are so perfectly portrayed!

It is hypothesized that she still loves him; however, she feels betrayed by him because he would not help her destroy humans. She is also insanely jealous of Elisa Maza.

@@heathert5455 exactly, she is too broken from being betrayed by humans for 1000 years and it completely changed her, shes full of revenge and lost her empathy but she still loves Goliath
