26:54 I love the Judy-called-JFK stories that make the rounds. She called him in front of her children, she called him in front of CBS executives, she called him in front of Norman Jewison, she called him in front of the plumber, and on and on. It's Pure Judy, being over-the-top as only Judy could be.

I’ve been producing records for years, mostly demos for various studios, and Judy’s voice is a mystery in a way. It has this tremendous venerability on top of this power that keeps reminding you that I’m A Big Star, and hear this!!!! What happened to all her MONEY??? Her royalties should still be overflowing.

@@alexwallace6120 And Judy was a handful herself. She gets a pass because she was so beloved (and I have the greatest deal of empathy for her because she was ruined, through no fault of her own, by her own mother and the studio system). I'm just saying, even if Sid was no saint, he seemed to have her best interests at heart more than any of her other husbands. What stands out to me the most, though, is that her children absolutely adored her, unconditionally. ♥

Wow amazing woman, but it's so disheartening to hear how the entertainment industry used her and abused her and got her hooked on drugs. Even her own mother didn't protect her. I would say that's why she was late and had bad moods. Taking those uppers and downers messes with your brain chemistry too. And causes mood swings. I think she was on overload but they kept pushing her. Wow. Unbelievable.
