“Solid educational video” We started with 3 soft neck garlic bulbs about 10-years ago and have been replanting them ever since over 80 now and we eat & give a lot away. I planted my garlic mid September, fingers crossed that it does well. I did it in a grow bag just trying something and it is growing. Will try in a different location next year

It depends on your climate. My onions are up and they look good so far. I am in a mild climate.
