Psalm 119 has 176 verses. Do you know how that relates to the 176 Tzefo? I read this particular Psalm every week between Sunday and Monday.

Do you have a source for this rule? What is in the light is relative to who is interpreting... light from darkness, wisdom from foolishness, this is the best of all. Come and See.. THE ZOHAR SHEMOT 208. Rabbi Aba said, How many wicked people are there in the world who beget good children, more than the righteous. And that good son who comes from the wicked person is even better because he is pure from impure, light from darkness, wisdom from foolishness and this is the best of all. THE ZOHAR TETZAVEH 86. The words of Torah become clear only there and the only light is that which comes out of the darkness. When this side is subdued, the Holy One, blessed be He, rises, and His glory becomes greater. There is no service of the Holy One, blessed be He, except from out of darkness and no good except from out of evil. When a person enters the evil way and then leaves it, the Holy One, blessed be He, rises in His glory. Therefore, overall perfection is good and evil together and rising to the good afterward. The only good is good that emerges from evil, and through this good the glory OF THE HOLY ONE, BLESSED BE HE, is elevated. This is perfect service.

That is the P'shat. Many go on to darshen "light is greater when it emerges from darkness." But you might say that is only as per the logic which says (for instance), "If Noach were to be in Abraham's generation (when Abrahams light would have overpowered his) he would not have been considered as exceptionally great." It could be the Zohar is speaking in relative terms. Like "If you never saw simchath beith hashoeva, you have never seen simcha."

Magog Gog uMagog is another name for Amalek (Pri Tzaddik, Nasso 15) and only sources outside the Talmud or judaism have thrown light that Magog is basically the nations of Eastern Europe. Are you from some particular chassidut? Kol HaKavod, it's the first time someone i assume from Ashkenazi jewry is speaking without any fear about these edomites and amalek cossacks, I spoke and speak because I'm sephardic but the sources I shared already come all from Ashkenazic sources, Sefaria for example is a project that comes from Ashkenazic chassiduiot.
