Hey achi I don't understand why you said on the discord room that you don't expect amalek to be some european showing up, here did you notice what the letter to the pope said? The author was just describing the scythians, the other day a muslim from Iraq added me on instagram and started to argue me about Gog uMagog and he said that they are two nations that are cannibals and not from this world. I was a bit annoyed because muslims in regards to this topic get their sources from jewish sources. People who eat people that's the description of the indo iranians, is to say the ancestors of the Slavs, they were known for the epitome of barbarianism, they ate the blood of the killed prisoners of war and they had lots of pagan gruesome rituals, like using the skulls of the killed prisoners as cups to drink blood. Millennia later you have the stories of dracula in Romania if i am not mistaken, but in general all of those places are often related with stories, folk stories where blood and gruesome things are involved. Black Metal and survival horror videogames are developed mainly in eastern europe, like Croatia and Serbia. Evil exists and is manifested through real people.

As a historical note, it is interesting that over the five centuries these legends entertained the imagination of some, the real world produced the writings of Maimonides cir. 1200; Rabbi Moshe ben Nachman, Ramban, cir. 1280; The Rosh; The RaN; The Yaavitz; HaRav Bartanura; The Saforno; Rabbi Yosef Karo, the Shulchan Aruch, cir. 1570... The gap between deep thought and wild fantasy is enormous.

Consider Rav Shlomo Malco. Maybe the Gap between deep thought and esoteric information isn't as big as you might think. For the common people, these letters were entertaining. But for the Initiated they were esoteric documents with coded information in them. Any kabbalist can see the esoteric language in use.

@GarmentofEsau if as you say Prester John is an actual figure who wrote a legitimately esoteric/kabbalistic letter, why did he send it to the Pope? If it takes a kabbalist to appreciate its innuendo, he'd be better off sending to someone who traversed through PaRDeS (but someone not like Elisha ben Avuya, TBChaggigah 14b-15a, who also got into very serious trouble misperceiving multiple reshuyoth when he saw Matatron sitting writing the zchuyoth of Israel...) In which case the superficial entertainment of the commoner has an even lesser gap between his thinking from 'deep thought' than somone who propogates serious hashkofic misperceprions of יי אלקינו יי אחד

Beautiful narration as always. Out of curiosity do you see any esoteric symbolism here? If so i would love to hear yiur thoughts. The numbers used in this narration are ratger common in esoteric and or kabbalastic circles.

Absolutely, I'm glad you asked. YES! These letters are very esoteric. For the common people they were a sealed document. Barely entertaining and even hard to believe. But for the Initiated they were a secret coded texts with hidden meaning. Consider the Section about the tree of life and the Nachash Akalaton....

You can find this letter in a book published by Oxford called "The Hebrew letters of Prester John" In 1519 it would have been Pope Julius II. As you can imagine, my faith and doctrines are not "Catholic". BUT the Catholic establishment fits into my faith. As I believe it was started by a Rabbi Named Shimon Kepha. I'm a Jew. Who takes the secrets of the Torah very seriously. Especially, The Messiah. For the secrets of the Bible can only be understood through an esoteric Hebrew context and no other. As for the trinity, as you asked.. this how I see it. Come and see... THE ZOHAR BO. 240. The daily profession of unity is a meditation for the sake of knowledge and for paying attention. We have explained this meditation in many places. The daily meditation is the profession of unity in the verse, "Hear, O Yisrael (Sh'ma Yisrael), Hashem our Elohim; Hashem is One." And they are all one. Therefore He is called One. HE ASKS, There are three names here, so how are they one? We proclaim One, NAMELY "HEAR O YISRAEL, HASHEM OUR ELOHIM; HASHEM IS ONE," yet how can they be one? 241. This is made known through the vision of the Holy Spirit. They become part of the mystery of the mirror of the closed eye, to make known that the three COLUMNS ALLUDED TO IN "HASHEM OUR ELOHIM, HASHEM" are one, and this is the secret of the audible sound. Sound is one, and has three aspects - fire, air and water - which are all one in the secret of the sound. Also here, "Hashem, our Elohim; Hashem" are one. They are three aspects but are one.
