this was very helpful!!! It is always frustrating when a demo video is just an overview, yours was very good. Without this collar I would have had to put my dog down. I owe his life to this device. He was deemed "unadoptable" and scheduled for termination when we found him

Thank you! I accidentally programmed my Garmin to have two dogs (we only have one dog) - this helped me correct the problem, since we had lost our instruction manual years ago.

Is it worth it to shell out the extra for the delta upland? I have a 6 month old German short hair pointer . He’s relatively compliant but still working on recall

Does the Delta XC have the barklimiter ? Or is that only with the XC sport ?

Only with the XC Sport. You can upgrade your transmitter to the sport to get this feature. The receiver is the same unit as the Sport. You can also get a stand alone Garmin Barklimiter Deluxe which also works extremely well (in fact quite better than the Delta XC Sport Bark control feature.

Should I be able to hear the tone when I hit the t button?

You will only hear tone when your device is set with TCM or TVM and you press the top button. You will not hear tone when you press the continuous or momentary buttons. If you do not hear a tone you may need to pair your handheld and dog device again. The first thing to check is that you are selected to the proper color to which your dog device is paired. That is a common error.

So the answer is "NO" this unit does not have bark control. Correct?
