Garmin echoMAP CHIRP 52dv with GT20-TM first start

Thanks for taking the time to make this overview of the Garmin device. It helped me when choosing sonar/plotter combo for my own use and needs. I ended up buying the smaller 44dv and an inland lakes and waterways sd card for just under $250 total.....amazing value. I use it on my Wahoo 16.2 in the San Francisco Bay and Delta area as well as for crabbing outside the Golden Gate in Tomales Bay, Bodega bay, and Fort Bragg area. Flawless so far (knock on wood).

How much amp draw does this have? Trying to figure out what fuse to use for this on the fuse panel. Thanks!

Thanks for this video. Is there any difference between the Echomap 52, Echomap 53, Echomap 54 and Echomap 55 at all? I'm seeing these 50 series Echomaps all over Ebay but can't really find out what's the difference apart from being bundled with maps and/or transducers.

Hello. Those are all the same hardware devices. The only difference is 53 and 54 have preloaded bluecharts maps (53 contains inland water maps, 54 contains coastal waters maps) 52 have no preloaded bluecharts maps. Only typical world map.
