Love the Enduro. They achieved the crazy batter life in combination of a slightly larger battery and an entirely new internal platform which the Enduro is based on.

Going to be interesting to see what the next move is with the Fenix range.

Enduro looks better than P6x or pro and has bigger display which helps to read the data while running. Map and Music are not important for me while running. That's the reason why I am using Enduro.
@CampuStellae3 жыл бұрын
Hi..!!! I wouldn't care about built-in maps either... that's why u can always go with hand held devices... Can u tell me if ENDURO comes packed with full navigation features..?? Like for example: track upload option, track back, way points plot and on....? Thanks
@finder22673 жыл бұрын
Per DC Rainmaker. Garmin states the Enduro is an entirely new platform. Fenix and Enduro do not share the same internal design as previous watches do. I think the Enduro is a glimpse of the future Fenix series. I also hope this means a global software platform is coming. Garmin pushing people into buying a new device to stay up to date with software features is wasteful and outdated with the cost of entry!

6x pro solar (which is titanium and is the same case weight as the enduro @51gm) + the new nylon band = best of both worlds
@TheRunTesters3 жыл бұрын
That's one way of doing it though you'll pay a nice premium for that. £849.99 for the 6X Pro Solar, add on the cost of the nylon strap. And you're not quite getting the battery performance of the Enduro.

I’m interested in, how satisfied you are with your 6x solar titanium with nylon band, because I am hard to think about buying an enduro or 6x solar.

At 0:54 comparing weight you guys put the wrong photo of watch under 6Xpro and Enduro. Little misleading. The photo of the watch under Fenix 6X pro is actually Enduro and under Enduro its 6X Pro.

Smart decision. No sense swapping out if you already own a 6X Pro.

I would get an enduro in a heart beat if they had topo maps. I'm ok with having to download the relevant maps to the watch and not have a massive database always present. Music I don't give a crap about. Give me an ultra watch with ultra features where mapping and coarse tracking is a necessity. Think of orienteering features!! #garmin

Nice review. Where did you purchase the nylon strap from?

Hi Brian, that strap came with the Enduro. But you can buy nylon straps from third party sellers. Though they're not always as good.

Great video guys.. the fenix 6 with blue band that Nick is holding, what is that exact model ? 6 or 6X? Also was the blue band on it garmin branded band or third party? That watch looks awesome so I would probably buy that exact one.

I used my fenix 6x pro for a 102 miler with navigation, from 100% it died in 14 hours, had to put it on charge and start a second session and join them at the end. Not ideal.

Excellent review! You mentioned that you mostly use the Apple Watch. Why use an Apple Watch over a garmin?
@TheRunTesters2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I (Nick) used to use an AW because I enjoyed using it much more outside of running as it’s a proper smartwatch, and I also found recent versions to be better on GPS than Garmins. However the latest Garmins are amazing on GPS and the Epix’s screen is great so back on Garmin now!

I love my Fenix 6Pro and use the map and Pacepro a lot. Great feature. I don't get though turning everything off to make the battery last longer. My 6 Pro lasts around 6 days fuly charged
@TheRunTesters3 жыл бұрын
(Kieran here), Nick's a big fan of using the power manager at night to turn some features down but I've never really bothered. One of the things I like about that Enduro mega battery was that you didn't have to bother with things like that at all to squeeze out more days.

awesome review. these watches are great and so tempting to move from my vantage V2 for the extra features in the fenix 6x et al, but the V2 is so comfortable to wear especially for sleep. a heavier watch might make it more difficult to sleep.

Buying an almost new Enduro for £450. Think that'll do for me (from a F5), as I can't justify £780 for a F7X.

yeah battery life will get better with time as the chips will be more efficient. the tranistors can be closer together. simply, the tech will keep getting better. yeah i'm eyeing up the enduro. have a polar vantage v2 but when you press the timer for a lap, it doesn't tell you how long it's been! you have to keep pressing it/thinking about it. totally unprofessional. plus want better battery. considered an apple watch, as want productivity apps like pomodoro timer. that battery's not good tho. also having whatsapp/fbook on your arm will be the most unproductive thing ever! can't they make an samsung watch that's really hench and has a very long battery?
@memphisreines3 жыл бұрын
Make clear solar doesn't charge your watch, it sustains charge. Majority of people think that these solar watches charge via solar which they don't.
@TheRunTesters3 жыл бұрын
So technically the watch is charged by solar but if you had a dead battery and left it in the sun all day, it's not going to get you back to 100%. So effectively it slows the rate of battery burn. But it is actually adding power.
@memphisreines3 жыл бұрын
@@TheRunTesters oh yeah, prove it. Have your watch at 50% charge and put it directly on the sun and have it charge at least 1%. Make a video showing the watch charging just from the sun.
