I think they should make a Enduro 3 with a AMOLED display, the MIPS displays can be hard to read with sunglasses on.

Hi thanks for the video. Could you go in to more detail about battery life for the Epix pro ? Im mean what is your brightness setting how much time you use on GPS and how many percent battery you have left after 1 week ? in the video i got the impression you like to charge your watch once a week which i do to. At the moment i have a Fenix 6X pro and from the numbers given by Garmin it looks like battery life would be near identical to my watch. But numbers given will not be in real life thats why i would like to hear your experience thanks

Battery life is always hard to comment on, it depends on usage, screen brightness, how many notifications, duration of activities, and so on. Not that charging once a week is preferred, but it is definitely fine for me, especially with that nice OLED screen and always on display active. So far the 11 days estimate from Garmin with always on active, and medium brightness in general mode, max brightness in activity mode (default settings), with other settings to default, seems to be pretty accurate, now it says 9 days left, full charge wednesday afternoon, one GPS activity around 30 min, and have it connected to my phone for notifications, and sleep mode from 23:00 to 11:00. But need to do some more testing here.

@@whcvip thanks for the reply that sounds good. I still doubt fenix 7x pro or epix pro 51mm i am not sure the colours are that important ro me. I am not looking at the disply all that much it is mainly to see the time for the rest i use the app on my phone. But thanks again for the reply it does help

I think the 7x is at 20 % backlight at most here, if you happen to turn it up to 50 % it will look normal.

I wasnt aware of the fact thag using Bluetooth has such a tremendous impact on battery life...this means that using Headphones for hiking etc isn't a good idea, is it?

Bluetooth music streaming is probably the most taxing you can do on the watch. But 17 hours is with all satellite systems on. You could limit it to GPS only and get a little longer battery life (in theory). If it is enough, it is of curse up to you to decide, depending on the length of your hike, and the frequency you are comfortable at charging the watch.

Sapphire can still scratch. Titanium scratches more easily than 316L stainless. I hope 51mm isn’t too big for my wrist and to sleep with.

Love the video! Honestly i think your 7 looks so much better than the epix pro. Maybe I just really like the MIP displays with the solar ring look more. Im hoping for an enduro 3 announcement soon!!
