Thanks for the amazing review on the battery & solar charge of the Garmin Fenix 6x Pro Solar. I have always thought that solar charging can be used as a stand alone for the Fenix 6x Pro Solar. Now we know better.

I love the details of your review. It was much different from other KZbin review. Eventhough you are russian you do it in english which I think the best option to reach larger viewers. I am from Kuala Lumpur and friend of anton krotov..looking to buy the solar version but I have the difficulty to choose between 6 and 6x..6x too bigger or heavier or 6 which is a bit smaller compared to 6x..i am afraid that I made wrong decision please tell me 6 pro solar or 6x pro solar

I'd rather to choose 6X Pro Solar or not. Why? Coz of large battery capacity, coz of high resolution and large display. That's why I'm owner of 6X Pro Solar. Thanks for your comment once more! :-)

Honestly, I don't care about watches size. I have a narrow wrist, but this does not prevent me from training daily. :-)

If you need F6 Solar for the city - it's not enough light power for solar charge. In this case, you should but Fenix 6X Pro without Solar. This model goes with large capacity battery.

According to Nov 2020 - ECG option was not implemented in while Garmin watches. :-(

Great review, very informative. I have one question, I've found Fenix 6X Saphire and 6X Pro Solar for the same price, which one would you recommend?

Solar version will help you if you are in the bright sun whole day. If your are working everyday in the the office, there is no point in taking this version. It's better to buy Fenix 6X Pro Sapphire. Depend on settings: Bleutooth, PulseOx, light timeout. It takes me about 1,5 week as a smart watches with 3-4 GPS workouts.

I've got a Fenix 6X Solar for a 6 months - there are no scratches (everyday workouts, hiking, tourism) :-)
