The Garmin 265 is a running smartwatch with a touchscreen AMOLED display, decent battery life and packed with training and recovery metrics. This has been my favorite Garmin Forerunner to date and I struggle finding any negatives with it.

I recently purchased a 265, and the three buttons on the left side have a clicky feel and function consistently. However, the back button on the right side of the watch face feels squishy and only responds when pressed down firmly until it clicks. I'm wondering if this is a deliberate design choice or a quality control issue. Given that the button resembles those on the left in style, I'm inclined to think they should all share the same tactile response and activate upon being pressed. Thoughts?

Just tried my back button. It feels just as clicky as the others. I wonder if it's just your watch? You should see if you can compare with another 265

@@RunningWithDusty thanks! I bought it brand new yesterday, but its button feels like it requires two steps to press. I often think I've pressed it, but it doesn't register. Sounds like your buttons all feel the same so this must be a manufacturing issue, as it is different from the clicky buttons on the left.
