Good overview, but I can't get the watch to show the time, or control the face. In other words, I cannot get to step One of your video. I have the forerunner 45 sync'd to my phone, but the buttons are so non-intuitive that I can't make any sense of the buttons.

The display is vibrant really? Do I have a different watch because I barely can see the display, I think it's a disaster, I didn't expect amoled or something for special but I really can't stand the display.

I have a quick question. How far can the phone be away from the watch while you are using it. The watch is great on gps but when i went back to the normal watch mode, I was about 2 miles from home and I think it unsynced from my phone and then when I got back it automatically came back. Hi, I have a question... My watch recently broke on the band, which was under warranty and I got a new one. Customer service was excellent, by the way. Anyway, when I set up my new watch I think I missed something...on my previous watch I had it set so that at the end of each mile it would give me an audible time for my mile pace AND it would display my lap time on the watch face. Only now, it just verbally gives me my pace, but on the watch face it only says 1 mile. What can i try to fix this? I still love my watch, just can't seem to get it the way I had it before. Thanks!

When going out for a run, do you need to carry the phone with you? What features are not available DURING the workout if you are not using the phone?

You do not need to bring your phone with you. Things like phone notifications and music control will not work if you do not have your phone.

The FR45 should be a good replacement for the FR410. Really depends on if you're interested in the new features of the FR245 or FR645.
