Great video. I just ordered a new panel for my Mooney which includes the GNC 355 and GNC 215. I really found this information helpful.

Gary is THE best single-pilot IFR instructor I have flown with. Investing in his 3-day IFR program was worth every penny to be a better and safer pilot - especially if you have a complete panel upgrade to modern avionics as I did in my Piper Dakota. I learned so many tips and tricks on how to use my new avionics that are nowhere in the manuals. Gary's real-world single-pilot IFR experience is unmatched and reduced my workload immensely. I hope to fly with Gary again, and I am glad to talk to anyone considering his 3-day program.

This is really good real world examples and training using Garmin GPS systems. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with all of us pilots.

May I point out, to reinforce your point regarding A/P mounting at the top of the stack…where is the A/P selectors located on the Boeing/Airbus aircraft? Is that by coincidence? (12:00)

Gary, you are a great guy with great ideas, even if you say so yourself.... Ha ha. How many pilots have you trained? Tell me again. I did not catch it the first 4 times you said it.😀 But remember you have been teaching 20 yrs ergo you are right. I have taught 34 yrs and I'm wrong sometimes.

Some good tips in here. My local class C often gives "alternate missed approach" instructions for the published miss on ILS and LOC approaches, particularly on one of the runways. It's usually just "climb to 4000, runway heading, expect vectors" whereas the published miss is a climb to 1300 then climbing left turn to 3700 direct to a waypoint. Do you know of a way to substitute a alternate miss for a published miss in a procedure on a GNX375?

How much is the 3 days program?
@PilotSafetyOrg8 ай бұрын
pilotsafety.org/3day has a lot of info. Each program is customized to the individual needs. On that page is an easy way to schedule a 10-minute phone call with me. G

I think you need to get a better microphone because your voice is muffled. It is hard to hear

Most accidents occur long before the adrenaline dump and panic stage. They occur due to poor decision making. I agree there is no benefit to criticizing a deceased pilot or thinking it couldn’t happen to you, but there is benefit to analyzing the deceased pilot’s decision making and where it went wrong in an effort to prevent yourself from getting into the same decision making pattern.

Stopped watching because I had to sit through two 8 minute long adds 😢 to get tough this video 😮 and couldn’t skip ahead.

About 15-20 minutes of actual gps usefulness, otherwise just pitching his course.

I thought there was a lot of content for free in a short time. Pitching the course fine and useful as that is what it takes to get really good at something. Your comment has no value.
