another issue, do you recomend solar edition? i mean, the battery really charge with common use, working, walking street and something like that? please let me know. rds

Solar is kind of misleading to me on these Garmin watches. It is not like your old Casio G-Shock meaning that you will never need to pull out the charging cable if you get the solar model, you will still have to charge the solar model with your charging cable. However I do find it to be a cool feature just because you get some extra things on the watch to look at (i.e. solar charging, solar intensity, etc.). I had both the solar and non solar, and did get about 5 more days of battery life with the solar vs. non, and that is just with regular outdoor exposure. If you are really surfing everyday and outside a lot, the solar will definitely extend the time between charging. It is a personal preference really, I like it and going forward will always get the solar version. Lots of people don't think it is worth the extra cost. Good luck!

the menu of activities to add, have surf? please let me know. Regards. I'm in doubt to buy surf edtion or other instinct 2 because of Surf and Tide forecast. Is not clair of non-surf edition have surf tracking sport and tide too. Rds you is the unique that are explaining with many details, tks

Sorry I don't have the Instinct 2 anymore so I can't tell you if by chance Garmin has added Surf since it's release but I can tell you when I had mine it was not an option. Here is a video where I showed all activities delivered on the Instinct 2. If you area really in to surfing, and high and low tide date I would think the Surf edition is going to be a better option than the standard.
