In forward view how do I adjust the wedge behind 0? I want the 0 To be on the far left of the screen and mine shows like 10-15 Feet behind the 0. I wanna see straight down and forward not 15 feet behind me lol

Sorry bud no way to upload backwards software is what they are telling me. I spent two hours on the phone with Garmin yesterday. I have some things I’m gonna try out and release a video this weekend.

They have the instructions to force the old update but they won't supply the older updates..... I'll make do and hopefully there's an update coming soon to get the clarity and detail back.....

What would happen if you turn your camera upward just a little bit or it would cover Shallowater better cause with it pointed the regular way at that angle it is made for deeper water and faughter out

One thing I don’t understand is. I have been in big ships and big fishing vessels. The units on those boats with large screens can’t even be put in the same page as our freshwater stuff. Everything I seen on big boats was auto. Never had to mess with anything but gps. And chart plot. Why are ours so unpredictable. Really makes me made. $3k unit and ya always gotta bend over and dial it in. That is cheap in my book. RIPSUMLIPZ

Agreed. But prolly has a lot to do with trying to see fingernail size baits and looking at giant fish in the ocean.

I agree with you on this as well, BUT, if you look at it from another perspective I can see a different side. The big ships are not looking for fish, they are looking for the bottom and auto does that. For me personally I maximize the screen so I turn auto off on pretty much everything. When on auto there is a few feet under the bottom that is showing. When in 30 foot of water that can be 5 feet for example. By adjusting I can see a clearer picture of the structure and the fish. When fishing 10 foot of water and having 2-3 feet below the bottom showing I can adjust to where the bottom is at the bottom of my screen and it shows me a better representation of the fish I am shooting for. Now, I am crappie fishing so the only time I go out further than 25-30 foot is when I am using LS to scan for the next tree that I am going to fish. Other than that I keep it on 20-30 foot (depending on if the fish are spooky or not) and can tell a lot more about the fish that I am going to target! I like that question and you have a valid point there.

I’ve lost my enthusiasm for the new color limit as many people are starting to. I have a video tomorrow showing the effects of it. If I wanted a no detail image I would have bought a Humminbird and that’s all this update is.
