Garmin Livescope: The Proof 26/2.57 Is Better Than 34/2.74 Updates Aren’t Always Better!!!!

Randy, around the first of the year I had updated my 106SV GLS10 /LVS34 and it’s currently 26.00 and 2.74. Definitely not impressed and spent my first trip out not messing with it much and just fishing. Should I revert to the 2.57 and if so how can I get a copy. I definitely appreciate everything you do for us. There is no one out there any better

Hi Randy, on 1 of your videos you showed a squarebill bait that had a lot of action and I think you said the bill moved as well ,think you might have said it was a 6th Sence do you know the one I asking about ? @The_Garmin_Guru Randy, already have it on a SD card which I purchased from you. Read on the internet forced download says no power on unit, hold up button and power button at the same time. It says nothing about GLS10 box. I was looking for procedure on the 1222 unit.

Hey can you do a video on how to setup one graph with 2 transducers but without split screen? Can you even do it? Or does the graph even have that capability? I have a gps map unit and can’t figure it out.

I had a guy tell me the updates are not compatible as good if you have a 32 and to buy a 34 and that would take care of the problem.

When I update my Garmin 106SV I just unplug the power to the GLS10/Black Box This keeps the graph at the current version and the black box at the version I want Garmin guru the update your talking about is just for the Black Box? Thanks for talking about this issue

Have you dealt with lag? My unit is essentially skipping and nowhere near live. Garmin is trying to tell me the update is part of the lag and that me sending my forward beam out to 100 feet is also causing a lag. It literally skips like its a VHS tape rewinding!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 26/2.57 update was released in 2022.0122.1. So best Garmin Livescope update was in 2022 or 2 years ago. Shame Garmin. . .

That's right around the time they released the LV34 transducer People with LV32 transducer said the quality of the live scope picture was worse after updating Black Box to current software I'm still at 2.55 on my Black Box
