That Xero really looks sweet. You would think every state game & fish or DNR would encourage something like this for better shot placement. Better shot placement adds up to a more ethical kill in my book.

Greyhunter I think it is more complicated than that. They plan on hunters missing that let a certain amount of hunted deer live. Most states outlaw electronic sites on bows for that reason.

i agree with you. Lets be honest, how many of us have wounded and lost animals. If your an ethical hunter it bothers you for a long time. This is a great product. The A1 is $800. if I buy a new range finder at 250 and a quality sight for another 250 im more than half way there and I don't have to carry a range finder. (I carry enough junk lol).

Careful compound guys. Compound hunters in certain areas, have been vocal against crossbows, seeing them as the enemy, and have had laws proposed, banning crossbows from certain seasons. Using the point that they have scopes as a reason, saying they fall more into the firearm category. Well, careful, before we know it, these compound sights are becoming scopes.

To be fair, if you have a 3d printer you can just print an U brace with a picatinny rail on the inside and slide a literal range finding sniper scope on your bow just fine

@@michaelschuler7397 it's not a thing of "worrying" about it. Compound hunters have successfully divided the archery hunters, in areas. And, where i live, crossbows that are over certain speeds, are classified as firearms and require owning a PAL. (Possession/aquisition licence) - needed to own/buy guns and ammo.

I'm 53 with SHIT vision and I still use a single pin HHA and go shoot. I understand wanting to do stuff to make it easier but I want to shoot my bow and NOT need a degree from MIT or go to Scout Sniper School

Range finder doesn’t work when you’re aiming up or downhill. Maybe you hit high because you were aiming down and your gizmo calculated for 26 yards of level flight, NOT 26 yards of downward flight.

We've never seen any issues for anything like that. It automatically adjusts for the angle up or down hill. The sight does it's job but sometimes emotions take over or a deer moves

Hand Range finder...then you should know your stand distance well before. Where this could work is for walking elk. Give it to Cam Hanes and send him up the mountain. When you are free stalking and pulling 80lbs at as many yards then it really matters.
