Shoot it at a busy range and will see. With many rifle having muzzle break, this garmin pick up shoot from other shooters gun. It has no provision for and external trigger. As it is, it’s only for the lonely shooter nor for range use -pistol & rifle.

That's an interesting thing to investigate. I'll find some time next week and test how far away from silencer/brake/bare it picks up the shot. I'll be back with another video on the this topic.

According to the press release this unit doesn’t use sound to activate, and as such is not impacted by other shooters brakes or suppressor use. It also supposedly can recognize which projectile originated from near the unit and filter out other projectiles that enter the doppler field from impacting the measurement. It also can recognize other garmin units in the vicinity and change frequency to allow non-interference with multiple in use on a shooting line. It sounds like they definitely thought about use on a busy range. Definitely something to test out.

There are videos of it being used in a busy range situation with other shooters also testing it out at the same time and there seems to have been no issues.

All the testing proves you incorrect. They tested it extensively with multiple shooters on either side and it never picked up stray shots from other shooters.
