your the only video on here that explains the pins. Even Garmin doesnt have any set up of troubleshooting vids on there site. So i want to say thank you. I have to reset up mine. Im accurate out to 30 yards but after that the arrow dosent even make it to the target at 40 or 50

Great review sir. Thank you for taking the time and making a video for the Garmin Zero. Best of luck this hunting season.

Great info, Got mine and setup was like 30 min ;).....I noticed that the “right arrow button” did not have quite the same plastic “sound” / feedback as the others buttons do you experience the same thing? Thx

sweet thanks !!! could you tell us the aperture diameter ?

That was a great review and thanks for the up close look at it. But would you comment on how to move the points? I can't tell by this if they are digitally moved (like the reflected image is from an LCD screen), or if the pins are mechanically moved inside the sight housing on the right. I would guess they are mechanical pins that you physically move that each have a little led light on the end, or fiber optic illuminated. Thanks again.

Hey after you set it up do you need to get the little green circle on the red circle ?
@thedeercamp3 жыл бұрын
The reticle? No. You can even turn that feature off. It's just to make sure you're not torquing the bow. I like to use it every time I shoot. Helps with consistency.

@@thedeercamp what is the reticle ? Do you have screenshots of what it looks like when you’re ranging ?

I bought a new a1i pro. It would not give me accurate ranges. Did the reticle calibration, all screw tighten, the whole 9 yards. After being on the phone with Garmin, they want me to send it back.

So my big issue I have with this product is looking thru the plastic lens just seemed to be not really clear when ranging a animal target out to like 60 plus yards!! I really would like your thoughts on this issue?
@thedeercamp5 жыл бұрын
I've shot targets out to 60 yards and I never noticed any issue. I wear glasses when I shoot to correct my vision. Is it possible your eyes aren't perfect? It's possible that it was slightly blurry but if so, I never noticed.

I don't understand why you would buy this and then use pins that have been sighted in to a set distance, I thought that you had to sight it in like you would any multi pin sight to calibrate it and then once ranged your target it would display a pin for that exact distance?
@thedeercamp4 жыл бұрын
You do have to sight it in like any multi pin sight. It will give you pins for that exact distance, whether those pins are pins you sighted in or a pin for a distance between the ones you have sighted in.

@@thedeercamp really appreciate the quick response. So once you've ranged your target a single pin will appear ready for that distance

@@tonyallen8626 yes exactly. When you hold in the button, that is when you're ranging the target, once you let go of the button, it will give you a single pin for the range that target is at. If you press the button twice, without holding, it will give you fixed pins you have set & you can use it as a fixed pin sight. Which, you many never want to or need to use, but I actually did this past year on a buck that popped out of nowhere at 10 yards and I wanted to make a quick shot.

Any glare issue with this sight?
@thedeercamp5 жыл бұрын
Not too bad. Hasn't caused me any issues yet but there have been times where I've noticed some glare while out shooting in the middle of the day in the summer time.
