Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is the newest micellar cleansing water to hit the drugstore. It's also very similar to the well known micellar water called, Bioderma. Bioderma hit the US last year and let's just say I was in love with Bioderma from the moment I used it. Is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water a drugstore dupe for Bioderma? Garnier is not even wort comparing to bioderma sorry! Thats because Garnier micellar solutions are not at skins ph. They are around 7, whereas bioderma is around 5.5 and has ingredients that repair and soothe skin barrier.

I really enjoyed the content of the video. Fun tip - case 1-when you patt the hydrating toner or serum in, it absorbs in the superficial layer . Case 2- swiping your cotton ball with toner in it in an upward motion will clear the debris. I learnt this from a French model.

of course. i used garnier and another dermato micellaire from la roche posay... being an anti dirt freak, i can tell you, garnier does remove a lot of your make up, but for deep cleansing, you need to use a dermato so it can get into the pores and clean your face properly.. i tried it with la roche posay after, and it removed the dirt left after i used garnier, and it was twice the dirt as before that came out. amazing how we can compare and trust products. garnier is cheap so you can use it everyday for fast make up remover but you need to deep cleanse after with another one

I've watched a couple of these videos and no one talks about the ingredients in each product and which brand is better for your skin. the performance test is great but I'd be willing to work a little bit harder for results if one product was better for my skin than the other

the Garnier is cheaper in price so I wouldn't be surprised if they use lower-quality or less healthy ingredients than the bioderma

from what I have heard, some of the ingredients in the garnier are comedogenic, meaning they clog your pores. The bioderma is better for acne-prone skin types, so if you are using the garnier and notice that you have breakouts, try cutting out the garnier for a week and see how it responds and if the breakouts stop occurring and go away, then you will know to stop using it for good. I have an all natural skin care routine so I don't have to worry about any of this, but for those who use commercial skin care, it is good to keep it in mind.

There are loads of natural things you can use to remove makeup, including african black soap, cold cream, castile soap, oils (oil cleansing method, if you are interested research it, very good for acne prone skin), etc. You could then follow up with a toner such as rose-water or witch hazel (I recommend using thayers), to ensure that all traces of makeup are removed. Just do your research and try things out to see what works for you if you are thinking of transitioning to a natural skin care routine.

i’ve been using the garnier skinactive one for a bit and it works great! thing is, i looked up the ingredients on skindeep and it actually has cancer causing chemicals! it also made my face feel a bit tight. i’ve just bought the bioderma and the bioderma doesn’t have any bad chemicals in it! i hope it works just as well

Try the cleansing balm from Banila Co or Heimish they're best at removing makeup or sunscreen gently :))

I am a DIE HARD for the bioderma one, but I use the green bottle for oily/acne prone skin, and I absolutely LOVE IT. I tried the Garnier one once it came to Canada, and it leaves my skin so oily :( it leaves almost a film of oil over my face, I'm assuming due to the way it reacts to my skin, considering its oil free. I use the Garnier for makeup removal, and then go over it with 1-2 pumps of bioderma just to get the film off, but once I finish the Garnier bottle, I will not repurchase. I'm so disappointed because it's so much cheaper than the bioderma, and I wanted to love it just as much!

I have been a consumer of Bioderma micellar water as well as Avene micellar water: each of which are a significantly higher price $ relative to Garnier Micellar water. Garnier micellar water par none is Superior for price point and Garnier water has same activating magnet ingredients but at superior level relative to Bioderma and Avene. I immediately became a fan of Garnier Micellar water. I have sensitive skin, so my make-up remover has to be Garnier micellar water. Check out and report ingredients and order of ingredients next time you conduct a KZbin review :) P.S. if you really want the best eye make-up remover, that includes removal of waterproof eye makeup and eye lash glue, then try NARS eye make-up remover. I cringed when I saw you rub your delicate eye area.

:/ Dude, I used Bioderma as a kid when I was 11 because my dermatologist prescribed it, that was back in 2005. So no, Bioderma didn't come out in 2015 lol. Maybe for the US but in Europe it's been around for a long time. It's a French brand.

Facts: Why it seems new-- Bio Derma and the Garner brand (a L'Oréal company) have been selling these waters in Europe for years and years. Neither one is new at all. It's just that the U.S. Wants to sell stuff from us companies so they make it hard for anyone else to sell things through taxing the shit out of them, and not allowing some ingredients from the original formula so it takes a while for things to hit the states. Quality-- L'Oréal uses the same scientist that they use to develop their high end brands as they do their drug store stuff. The reason why both products are so good is because in Europe "drug stores" are operated by a pharmacist, the pharmacist then hand picks everything in his/her apothecary/drug store, so he/her knows every ingredient and he chooses the healthiest products and the best products for the people in his/her community. The French take huge pride in things like that. So that product was popular in a European apothecary because it works, not like in the u.s. Company tell us what we need by making it then making us think we need it through ads. Bio derma is popular because makeup artist went to fashion week in Europe and got tips and new products from European makeup artist and then makeup professional retailers fill the demand, eventually it gets to the public. The only different is what the U.S. Allows in the product, that's why the Italian and French garner are soooooo much better than what we have here. But it's seems good enough.

However, they really work and do as they say. I have very sensitive, highly reactive skin. Add to that my beliefs of not testing on animals... difficult to find products.
