Not only that, but the fact it’s also after Flowey slips up in saying for Clover to go get Floweys souls. Clovers entire reason to be there is for the souls, so when Flowey reveals that he only wants to use the souls of the people Clover wanted to save, Clover resorts to the one thing he knew on that path. His neutral special.

That might be intentional. Its plausible that after sans's last dodge Chara snaps at takes him, Asgore and Flowey out themselves. This could explain the slash animation and absurd damage amount. It also explains how you were able to attack sans a second time and emidietly take out Asgore during his dialogue.

I literally used the fight button ONCE in Zenith Martlet's fight and that was at the end when the game forces you to use it. My strategy was to just spam Endure because I had no healing items left over after beating her first phase.

The only thing that I consider controversial and I don't see anyone actually talks about is who does the reset in the end of the genocide route. I mean.. We all know that the earliest point that you can reset the timeline to is the moment when you gain the control over it in the first place. The same was with Frisk and Flowey. As for Clover, they only get enough determination to do all this after they kill Martlet, so they basically should not be able to reset the timeline to the start of their route. I mean.. I dunno.

Some more things to note not regarding this but just the “friendliness pellets ammo” after you kill flowey, you still use the ammo, so… does that mean flowey is still alive? Why would the ammo stay in your gun when it’s made of flowey’s magic? Questions questions questions…

Actually, Silver Bullets are the best ammo in the Genocide Route as soon as you get them, because they not only deal the same damage as F. Pellets during the Steamworks (LV12) assuming every shot is perfectly aimed, but they even surpass the pellets' damage at Zenith Martlet (LV19), since their damage increases by 25% of your primary attack (without any equipment) if you fire a perfect last shot, so 6 perfect shots with the Silver Bullets would deal more than even the weapon with AT 11! (Though they also decrease damage by 50% if the last shot wasn't perfect. At least the Silver Bullets are easier to aim with :p)

Small correction - Flowey can't save/load at that point anymore because Clover has become too determined. It has nothing to do with strength (though Clover's journey for strength at all costs is certainly what gave them the determination)
