So i don't see any comments on the spool of the g25 550 vs the g25 660?. In other dyno's i've seen it's somewhere around 500-600rpm.

Nice build.... i didn't ready hear what down pipe or mid pipe are you using to connect the turbo down to the exhaust

I'm trying to learn as I go...I want to add a G25-550 to my Juke Nismo RS 2016. Apart from an Intake and an Intercooler...what else would I need to add so I don't blow it up?

Just ordered a G25-660 for my MK6 GTI. Can't wait to get it installed and dialed in!

Hey, I've also got a mk6 gti and was thinking of buying the same turbo, any update on how it drives? When does it spool up in the rpms?

Out of interest how will the power levels be policed in the race series, is it just a gentleman's agreement as presumably they're not going to dyno the car at every circuit and you have switchable maps as well so there's nothing to stop you cranking it up to the 500bhp map during the race or to overtake for example

noticed you use blanked port on your turbo (on the cold side) for boost pressure to wastegate i presume? was wondering about that. i actualy welded a take of in my charge pipe right after the turbo.

What are you using it for ? Street/time attack use and around 400whp use a 550 . Drag racing and big hp , use the 660 .

I thought the 660 came with an internal wastegate, but yours doesn’t seem to have one?

The internally gated version does 😊 Where you're able to, external wastegate is better every time.

I haven’t managed to find the 660 without an internal gate yet, I’m looking into this turbo for my 3.3L v6 which is going to be a Twin setup. (Kia Stinger turbo upgrades)

Do you tune your car on the road? Also, how did you learn to tune your car? I have an emerald k6 on the way for my car and is debating whether to tune it myself or leave it to tuner.

@@TeamPrawnRacing How do you go about ignition timing? That's what I'm the most afraid of as the emerald doesn't support knock sensors. I don't know if there's more people out there who's interested but I would gladly watch a video of you mapping your car and going through the things you need to think about.

And why would that be bad? He swapped because he needed less power and better reaction. I'm sure he didn't tell you to go 660. Also he doesnt know what peak perfomance you want.
