I suffer from quite bad anxiety and this interview was so inspiring. Garrett just goes out and does stuff and has such a positive outlook and just does stuff. Hyping me up to stop procrastinating and start doing what I want to do for sure. So much respect.

Taking the last min. to tell a story about someone else was genius. have every guest tell a story, off air, about someone who will never have a nine club episode i.e. Phelps ect..., then compile all the story's, and make a "never was episode." (you'll be doing everyone a favor, and will have an episode's for emergency's)

Another great episode! 180 episodes guys, well done and much love. Seen them all and if we average 1 hour and 30 minutes per episode (it’s probably more but there have been some short ones especially at the beginning) that’s 11.25 days of continuous nine club interviews and I don’t want that time back plus a few days of experience to boot! Osiris was the shit at the time. Check out the video Feed the Need. So many great skaters. I'd rather have been on Osiris just because of the team. I just copy and pasted this, but this was the team at the time: Corey Duffel, Garrett Hill, Jimmy Carlin, Caswell Berry, James Brockman, Diego Bucchieri, Gailea Momolu, John Lupfer, John Rattray, Marius Syvanen, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, Shuriken Shannon and Stu Graham . I remember getting that video for resubscribing to Thrasher or something. They also gave me that Strange Notes Crunch Time video which was super gnarly. Truman Hooker's part from that is sick.

@@ohcumcafodasse careers can last for a while but making money in skateboarding is different from any other job since you get money monthly or quarterly instead of weekly, so if you're younger and not paying as much attention to budgeting then you might be struggling to pay bills or taxes etc. And there is a possibility that he was being cheated out of money on fallen

I feel Chris kind of rushed the shoe sponsor change story. Garrett was getting flow from Fallen when it orignally started, but because of Duffel he got on Osiris, was on the team for many years. Afterwards he then went to Fallen and that's when he had his pro shoe, the Corsair (a Blazer without the swoosh model), and once Fallen went under, he didnt have a steady shoe sponsor. Glad to see Garrett on here, and the backstories were really entertaining and glad Garrett can laugh at himself. Keep up the good work
