Thank you guys for listening to us. I still wish this machine would have all the bells and whistles. Hopefully you guys have a detector in the works that will have all the latest features, and maybe even some new ones. My family has been using Garrett since the 80s but lately I had to change brands.

I am impressed with how stable the vdi stays when surrounded by iron! Now I'm really excited to get mine. I hope it will before the ground freezes so i can get a couple hunts in this fall still. Thank you!

Really hopefull Garret is serious about getting into the SMF game. I'm pulling for an American company. It's going to take alot to get me over being burned with the Apex and tear me away from my D2. With that said go Garrett.

Bravo! I like what im seeing...I have a question, i detect in a lot of aluminum trash of different sizes, shapes and thicknesses mixed in with coins or relics im searching for causing me too dig way too much of that trash... it is very frustrating...could you please present a demo on how to deal with that?

Garrett's trickery is another reason why I'm not going to buy one again. Change to angle just a little bit and there goes your test.

Last time I detected in a park none of my targets were sitting on top of the ground...how a machine picks targets up buried in the ground at different depths is what I look for. And those tones sound just like my old alarm clock noise and would be annoying after hours at a time.

Nails with coin is only one direction as all other midle and high end machines do. Because of the physics and magnetic of iron

I’m rooting for this machine, but using modern nails is cheating, sorry. Old nails have a completely different composition and are WAY HARDER TO REJECT. I had a Tesoro Tejon and on foil discrimination, it would bang a good signal on civil war nails. Put some moisture in the ground and those deep ones are a booger/bear to reject, but other brands have done a great job overall. I hope this detector gets fine tuned, would love a great performance, built in USA detector that performs
