Man, SU’s first song is why I love the Jukebox. Such a musically powerful statement. 90% of HBCU bands wouldn’t have the balls to even attempt a piece like that. Or they are too scared to play it because of blowback from fans with the notion that ‘we are only supposed to play rap and R&B tunes’. Way to stand up and stand out, SU. When you can demonstrate excellence in cranking and in technical pieces, it’s a beautiful thing.

At 1st. my initial reaction was being a bit disappointed in Txsu for not coming harder than they did. But as i listen more and more. Txsu did really good. But Southern was just waay to much for them. Southern seemed like they were on a mission. Just throwing Blow after blow and it was just too much for Txsu. I personally heard Txsu being worn down more and more; especially in their mello section. Moreover. I LOVED the discipline, control, and balance, while also maintaining power and endurance that Southern displayed. This is the discipline, control and balance i've been saying was lacking from NOASB and Southern. They sounded Very mature, more like the elite band they are.

The JUKES sound better than Ocean, way better! The dance battle really comes down to personal preference. The Dolls are very polished, sensual, and feminine in their dancing. On the other hand, Motion is very hard, sexy, and aggressive. It's like watching an AKA battle a Delta (no shade), lol. With the Ne-Yo tune 23:23, the Dolls showed they could do both, but they choose to be true to their style: sensual and feminine. I like it! I choose the Dolls in this battle. ❤️🇺🇸
