As a Northern Band Mom I love watching your shows. My kids are sixth generation band. All musicians and two who played dual rolls --- guard and dance. But, our school was underfunded. Even though we were in a supposedly rich district.

You can say what you want Southern U set the standard for all others bands to follow along with FAMU and Grambling. I not taking anything away from any of our HBCU's Bands I love them all. So you take things from one band and you them that in your band. It not called stealing it called respect. If one bands is during something another band(s) are not doing and they want use it in their band so be it. Shout out to Southern U great job once again and shout out to all of the HBCU's Bands all around the country.

Ruston louisiana and la tech should be ashamed for the booing I heard. Their band is a holy mess even amongst core style bands. This is why we should stop letting them get the ticket sales for filling the stadiums when they play black schools. Notice they never play at Southern or Grambling or any other hbcu then boo our schools while cashing in the money. Their stadium is never this full for any other school they play it's obvious who they came to see. Southern did a good job I would have come see you but I won't give my money to tech.
