Katrina hit on 05 and this 07 and 08 and 09 was the Last drops of the Pre Katrina Blood in New Orleans bands, you can clearly hear the difference. and If they think this was something. this is very small band compare to Pre Katrina. just imagine that sound time 2 or 3. I would pay anything to see a Reed or Kennedy or Carver pre Katrina bands in these post Katrina battles. Good Lord.

be real bruh i know ppll i got fam from the n.o u know as well as i know mr. rawlins students followed him to walker i never said walker was sorry or small cuz they always been big but they sound didnt get like this big til rawlins came there and brought alot of carver with him tubas and bones especially before katrina walker played whatever notes and shit ..... now they a well oiled machine built on top of a legacy called GWC

You sleep outchea...Public Announcement: Oliver Perry Walker Band was the s*** before Mr Rawlings got there we've been the s*** and we've been had money in our budget to use for our band correctly and Mr. Rawlings knew that and that's one of the reasons he went to Walker to get away from the motherfuking schools on the East Bank.... and for you to say Walker was blowing all kind of notes and s*** that's one thing we didn't do we have one of the best concert bands in the city because our band teacher Gus didn't give a f*** about playing loud he gave a f*** about playing the right note... you need to stay off that shit is selling cross the canal.... hands down we had the biggest and best drum section along with the best drums.... Yall east Bank drummers ain't seen Yamaha snares to y'all saw us.... sounds like you jealous you wasn't a charger

snowyo318 negative Rawlings came to walker game when mr B was the director and heard that sound an wanted the position he knew walker was punishing shit the next year so happen mr B left an Rawlings got the job better ask somebody walker sound was there before Rawlings showed up ask Kennedy what happened in 2002-2003 😂

Both bands sound great. I like walkers balance better. That other band is very trombone heavy. And of course u cant forget they twice walker size and both band are the same volume wise. Nice battle,i always wondered who they went up against.

Emmanuel Darden there's no possible way you band was better than this one. Get over yourself. This was the best high school in the United States that year as far as im concerned. Don't compare them to your section. Compare them to yall band! Witch im sure theres no comparison
