I really had fun with this one too. It’s called “Garrett’s Adventure” so that adventure can be just fixing up the boat or walking around in the city. It doesn’t matter. Glad to hear you are doing okay. Cannot wait for the next video.

Keep up the fantastic work. In the meantime, I'll live vicariously through your videos in my normal mundane lifestyle.

glad you're back and doing better! this may not have been a sailing and exploring vid, but it is definitely part of owning a boat, and planning and maintaining your equipment is part of every adventure. also, i have had friends tell me that some of the things i am planning on showing on my channel, like partying or karaoke or bonfires aren't adventures, and i tell them that absolutely anything you do can be part of an adventure. when i go to parties and stuff i meet new people, have different experiences, and create new connections, and all of that sounds like an adventure to me. plus sometimes meeting those new friends can open new doors and lead to getting invited to go camping on their land, or join them on big trips, or getting offered a place to stay while i travel... life is an adventure, you just gotta be open to it. so ya, this was a great video, and i'm looking forward to the next one, because whether it's gonna have sailing in it, or just some boat projects, i know it will be fun and show me things i'm interested in

It's how you maintain your 3 batteries that will determine how faithful they are. Many installations are batteries hard wired in parallel. Bad. A good starter solution is a 3 way isolation switch plus 3 separate wires running separate loads. The battery minder is going to need a 3 way switch, too, but low amperage. You should carry a 12 volt soldering iron and proper electrical solder, not acid core. You don't need to be on land to do wiring projects. I solder, not crimp solar MP4 connectors and insulate joints with fishtank tubing. You can protect your plugs with Vaseline. Learn your dripless prop shaft seal, Cutlass bearings, prop, and motor flange so you are not dependent on mechanics. Keep greasing throttle cable and controls.
