2017 Diamondback Mission Pro Review

I bought this bike for 2400 in July and I freaking love it!!!! No DH here just trails, not much in the way of elevation either, and it's wonderful! It may be overkill but so far I have not wished I had something different or regretted it one bit!

I love this bike, but I feel like it's overkill for my local trails. I have been riding my dirt jump for my local trails. Checkout some of my current videos. BUT if you plan on riding downhill parks, big stuff, big drops, rough trails and climbs... Yes, this bike is great.

Scott Moir I was able to pick mine up on sale for $2700. For that price total worth it. The grips suck and the seat post is broken, but otherwise I enjoy it.

I paid $2300 over at aventuron.com and it was here in two days. I think they are like $2600 now, but they have a Release 2 for $2400. Check eBay, I saw some brand new Releases on eBay for around $2000 flat, free shipping.

What size of frame do you have? And also how tall are you?

I am 5’11”, 6 On tall days, and I picked up the large, I think it’s a bit too big. If I had a do over, I would get a medium.

Garrett Rides Im just 5 10" may be meduim should fit me well. Try to change your stem in 35mm in length so that it would fit you well. Cheers!

Pound for pound the Diamondback Mission Pro is the best value on the market. Call Diamondback or Rockshox. They’ll make that dropper right. I have that post on one of my bikes and it’s great. Sorry you may have gotten a bad one.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the bike and I got a crazy good deal on it. I’m not too worried about the dropper post. I googled it and it seems like a common problem with an easy fix.

It is overkill for the local trails. I have been on my dirt jumper almost this whole season. I plan on hitting some bike parks in the fall. Was that an invite to the North Shore??? I am in!

The Mason Pro is better value. $1400....BTW, converting to tubeless is juist HYPE! You don't need the aggrevation or cost of converting to tubeless.
