I found the steady delay between moves helpful and instructional as I was able to think where I'd go and have it confirmed or denied by what was then played. It allowed me to think

Just randomly came up on my feed. Really loved this. I kept up with both of them at this pace until they had 8 pieces each. Then it all went a bit fuzzy..🤣 Loved chess at school, joined local club and enjoyed the competition. Tried to teach my Son the rudimentaries and he took it up also as a child. Doesn't touch it now unfortunately. Apart from a few snide comments from the KZbin trolls, I've noted some great observations in the comments. Subscribed. Thanks for sharing.

Very subtly but brilliantly played by Kasparov. Just patiently using his material advantage to box his opponent in. This match perfectly illustrates the power of a rook and bishop together against a less dynamic combination.

+1 Inscrito.

7:23 Incredible show of Kaprov's experience and learnings from his mentor Baristotrov. Moving horsie to prawn rook 7 and denying Kasparov's Mandalorian defence he'd spent the whole game building! Wild stuff.

How did Kasparov switch his rook and king like that at 02:35? I'm only learning how to play, but I absolutely love it so far. I know he's moving it out of check, but I wouldn't of thought that switch was possible. They are literally going over each other.

How efficient was Kasparov's endgame? Did he miss opportunities to end the game sooner? It looked highly efficient to me, but not good enough to be sure...
@rokanza229310 күн бұрын
Well I'm sure that if you put it through Stockfish 16 you would see some inhuman combination that he " might" have done but since we are human after all + on the most stressful event of his life and quite possibly low on time then I would say that his endgame was very efficient indeed.

@BB-wb9lv8 ай бұрын
@@munirabul7ozz I don't know, because I'm not a very good player. But I found this comment from a master. ' Kasparov finally penetrated Karpov's defense, pinning down his king. Florida chess master Gary Sanders said white's winning plan in the final position would be to play Be5, followed by Rc8+ and checkmate on the h8 square. If Karpov tried to stop this attack with Ng7, Sanders said, Kasparov could play Be5 and exchange pieces to gain a clear win.'
