Its a good toaster, and I'm using it daily.

Ive had this toaster for many years, exact same but its branded as SAGE. Its a decent toaster, for UK loafs the slots could be wide. After years the heating elements are now a bit weak but it still toasts well on the higher settings. The undertrays are very useful. Highly recommended, dont buy more expensive toasters.

I loved this toaster but 3 years on the electronics died.. mid toast it would turn the crumpet option on and burn the toast.. turning it off for a few hours helped sometimes.. then the toast would not stay down.. great design.. crap electronics.. you should get 10-20 years out of a toaster.. the only thing that should need replacing is the elements

My works perfect so far. Perhaps you have the crumpet mode enabled, if so , it would then toast one side darker than the other.

That's the Crumpet program setting, it's meant to toast one side darker than the other.🙂

I noticed this as well. The inward facing side of the toast on the left is a lot more toasted than the outward facing. Trying to find a toaster that toasts evenly, even if a single slice, sick of having to rotate my toast constantly to get consistency. I guess I'll keep looking.
