Great video, Garry. I recently levelled up from three to four after launching my own UX design business (Shibumi Digital Experiences). It's a fantastic feeling. It's that moment you realise you can make your own way in life - when you no longer have to compromise on your dreams. A friend of mine who studied this at Cambridge University tells me that the emotional transition period between levels is known as a "liminal state". Kegan's Ladder is very similar to the work of Abraham Maslow who coined the Hierarchy of Needs in 1943, which, funnily, I reference a lot when designing user experiences!

But seeing this video in combination with other great sources, I tend to understand it is simple my desire to reach stage 5 and simply flow through life. I guess my big quest is to find out how to get there. Thank you very much for the video and for all the powerfull insights you share!

If you can be integrated, and aware at your individual conscious level, then you can integrate your team into a powerful, resolute, super organism that can build incredible products and services. That's what it takes to make something bigger than any of ourselves. When leaders do this, we are greater than the sum of our parts. - Garry Tran Thank you for this wisdom.

Gary, thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience to help others, much appreciated. I’d ask not to include Ads during the video. I always concentrate on the content, what you are saying, and in the middle, I get distracted by ads. Then I need to rewind 15 secs to follow the content again. If ads are mandatory, maybe you could add them at the beginning and end? Many thanks for all your effort to help others. Best. M.

Hey Garry, Thanks for this amazing video. Have you ever tried Cognitive Behavior Therapy? It’s really wrapped around the concept of our inner child, inner adult, inner critic, and “copings”. Many of them are always debating inside. And CBT helps you to learn how to detect those different voices and understand their roots. Also, concept of inner maps is awesome. This CBT therapy helps me to “blitzscale” the company and make right decisions when I don’t know how I want to behave. Thanks again for this video❤️

Hi Garry, I do have the same issue and I talked to a friend about it a few days ago. So, the timing of this video is impeccable! I have noticed that the leaders we admire have this conviction about their ideas which might even resemble blind faith. Like you, I always keep on debating pros and cons of everything for too long which often leads my team confused as well. How can I improve this?

Thanks, Garry for this insightful content! I am currently studying how to correct a failing team and one of the toughest parts is understanding how each team member is thinking and what motivates them in their careers and lives. Do you find it hard to motivate a team in achieving a specific goal? If you are managing a startup that has 6 months to live financially, how could you convince the team to do their best under tough circumstances?
