I am from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma it was around Mother's Day I can't remember the year but was walking through the woman's department and looked up and saw a man carrying his wife's purse around outside the dressing room and to my surprise it was Garth Brooks and he was waiting on Tricia who was inside the dressing room it was the most humbling moment and cutest because most people would think that such stars like they are would not be so down to earth and be shopping at Target but it made my Mother's Day I did not get a pic or autograph because in that moment I wanted to treat them just like normal people I would meet and not some freaked out fan even though I was freaking out but it made me have so much more respect and love for them both cause most people in the industry forget where they came from and that at the end of the day we are all just the same . I did get to encounter him again at that same Target and I was with a girlfriend of mine and I told her to look over there and who it was and she started flipping out and wanted to meet him so the whole time we are walking over to him I am telling her to calm down and don't act like a crazed fan because before we walked over to him I noticed he was with one of his daughters and they where shopping for her a swimsuit so I didn't want to freak her out and make her nervous I kept telling my friend don't you go all crazy and freakout and don't be asking for an autograph or pic because they get enough of that I thought she was gonna hyperventilate on me but we finally make it over and she did great and if coarse he was such a gentleman and the most nicest down to earth person you will meet it's like running into an old friend he makes it so comfortable to be around him .❤️
