Garths music is the first music I remember listening to, over and over to learn all the words and sing along. In Pieces was my first album and started my lifelong obsession with music. Might not always agree with him on politics or personal beliefs, but his music will always have a home in my heart

He's surprised people came back after he was out for 14 years, well, let me tell you..... when you have a song, where that opening strum of a simple A major chord tells you it's gonna be a party (Friends In Low Places), it don't matter if the song is 30 years old and you haven't played it in 20 years. Great music is timeless. I could not WAIT to see him when he came back on that tour. Oh BTW - I put the No Fences album on my list of all-time, must have albums for anyone who wants a proper album collection, right up there with the best from Led Zeppelin and The Beatles to Pink Floyd and The Who.
