I am guessing then, you have never listened then, to traditional country music, what now, is considered classic country music! The original version of Rocky Top Tennessee was wrote and sang by the Osbourne Brothers! I knew a little boy who didn’t live far from me and, was from South Texas / Aka / his parents decided to move to Indiana and, he sang it in a fair competition in our small 0:03 town and, he was about around 10 and, he sure sing it like nobody’s business! 0:03

I was introduced to this classic song as a kid living in Los Angeles in the mid 80s because of the Kenny Rogers film Six Pack……so I always thought it was a slow song!
