I grew up on Garth Brooks, and we share a hometown and actually graduated from the same high school. This is one of my favorite songs from him. I'd say The Dance and Unanswered Prayers our neck and neck. He's got so many great up beat songs but both of those make me chock up every single time. I lost my cousin/best friend in 2016 from Cystic Fibrosis and my grandmother earlier this year to Cancer so it hits even harder now.

I am a 60 year old man that spent 14 years in the USAF as a Security Policeman (THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE YOUNGUN) and 25 years as a State trooper SWAT operator/Asst team leader/sniper/mantracker/tactical rappel master/instructor. This video makes me cry like a baby....Garth is the REAL thing. When he got divorced from Sandy he stopped touring and stayed home to raise his daughters! Him and his ex wife Sandy lived real close to each other and his daughters spent every night with either their mom or their dad and Sandy or Garth always took them to school. He was not perfect, but he is a good man. I have seen this video before and it makes me cry every time I see it!!

This is exactly how Garth is. If you have never seen him in concert you should. He really cares about his fans. I saw him in concert with my grandson that I lost five years ago at 19. This song reminds me of him. It makes me smile everytime I heard this song. I have decided to play this at my funeral in memory of my grandson and son. I have not told them but my son will know exactly who this is song for. Thanks for the song and the stories. I lost both parents to cancer so I understand

OMG I can't see the screen through all the tears. Had to compose myself before writing. I lost both my parents within 6 months of each other in 2010, dad with stomach cancer and mum with leukemia. It was the hardest year of my life. I think about them every day. Thanks for a beautiful and emotional reaction. I love you guys.

Hey Jackie. Sorry for not responding to your comment all those months ago, that's why I left you that heart. Sorry to hear about the struggles you've been going though, can't imagine what this year has added to that. If you need anything, feel free to reach out.

My cousin died in a car accident when she was 16. That was over 20yrs ago and they played this song at her funeral and I still bawl every time I hear this song. I live in Minnesota so the fact that this concert moment happened here, is even MORE special to me!!! I saw him when he was here before, not in 2014 and he was AMAZING!!!! I have lost family members to Cancer so it has a different meaning watching this video. Thank you for reacting to this!!!

I have lost so many family members to cancer, my only grandmother that I knew... a cousin, my ex husband’s 17 year old nephew, my mom’s sister, a coworker, then lost my father in law and my dad both to cancer in less than a year.

Wonderful video, I've seen it before but it still made me cry. Garth is such a good person. He's done so much for so many and rarely lets anyone know about it.

This is a very kind gesture to your subscribers. You both do a fine job of personalizing to your audience. I lost my husband just a few years ago to lung cancer that was Stage 4 when discovered. It's a horror of a disease. I noticed your new intro video and music - well done. While watching Garth walk the stage, I thought of an interview he did where he said he'd been heavily influenced by how Freddie worked an audience. You can see the similarities, especially with the benefit Garth has of current technology. Very thoughtful segment, guys. Thank you.

The old adage "Laughter is the best Medicine" this is so true. It releases endorphins that really do make pain less and does some healing. Watch funny movies, laugh your head off!! I do love Garth and love this song. Life has not been perfect but there is very little I would change.

I just happened upon your video and what struck me was your respect for your dad! Your dad hit the nail on the head, yes serious medical conditions are very difficult but for anyone who is battling anything difficult, don’t give up. If this woman can deal with chemo and then go to a concert the same day then we all can certainly try hard too.

A little bit of a sequel to this. Some time later, Garth was on Entertainment Tonight being interviewed about restarting his career. They brought a special guest to meet him in person again. If links come through on here, you can see that video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHKycoB7hd5raaM
