One of the songs that influenced me from my teen years and today. Later in life, after Jesus revealed Himself to me and I accepted His gift of salvation, the first verse of this song took on a different meaning. The only way there can be no Heaven is if there is no Yahweh. I still love the song because it is about peace, love and brotherhood. I can't imagine a man like President Carter would agree with that first verse. However, his family chose it and that's good enough for me. RIP President James Earl Carter. You were truly an image bearer of The Almighty

A long and beautiful life in service of the nation and all people abroad. A timeless classic by the late John Lennon nicely performed by Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood at Jimmy Carter's funeral. This classic song have surely influenced Jimmy Carter's life. It probably paved the way to what would be his entire life after politics; making his biggest dream a reality. That means building a peacefull world in which all people and nations may live, thrive and prosper peacefully, without any armed conflict or war to come. Jimmy Carter imagined all the people living life in peace and sharing all the world, and all nations to do so. His dream was that all nations on Earth would join together and that the world would live as one. He achieved a part of his dream, but there is much more to be accomplished to make Jimmy Carter's dream a reality. A very long and beautiful life dedicated to his compatriots and also to other people in each and every nations on Earth. He shall be remembered forever. His works and legacy will live on endlessly. R.I.P. James Earl Carter.
