Some of the most clean and crisp shots I’ve seen coming out of the 12k, almost like they’re disobeying the laws of KZbins compression algorithms. Incredible work mate!

Really great work my friend. I personally love the Fujinon line of glass and like some of the other high end lenses it has its own character/signature. Continue your great work my friend.

Great work! I also shoot with the Ursa 12K, over the shoulder most of the time. A few other strategies I use for weight balance, primarily so I'm not creating neck pain: A) Shark Fin 2 Batt's off the back, B) Add a 5lb counter-balance off a set of 6" inch rails on the back. I like this, because it's not much weight but the leverage creates a tremendous amount of stability, and I can easily dump it if it gets in the way. Costs very little. 3) Easy-Rig with about 5-10lbs of support, so there is enough weight to create stability, but also enough support to help me get through long weeks. / All the best.

Easy rigs are great for a lot of shoots, unfortunately I’ve found them to get in the way more than help in the type of work I do. Now the shark fin plate is a great piece of gear that I’d love to get my hands on. More weight on the back is always good and hot swapping batteries is the way to go. The way my rig is set up, I’ve moved my shoulder plate much further forward along with the top handle. If I add a shark fin plate and two batteries I think I’ll be sorted for weight distribution 👍 thanks for the idea bro!

I've owned this lens for about 4 years paired with my RED Gemini. I've shot 99% of my work with it, it's a beast. I use mine with an EasyRig that I own as well. I also own the servo zoom, but never ever use as I hate the ENG style zoom of servos.

I really loved the first video you dropped about this lens, this second one is also a real pleasure for the eyes. Would you recommend using it with a smaller camera ? BMCC 6k FF for example ?
@GarthDeBrunoAustin7 ай бұрын
Thank you soo much! I’d only recommend it if you got the servo motor hand grip with it. Then you could kinda hold it infront of you and zoom with ease. But realistically without a shoulder kit or a an easy rig this lens will wreck your back. It’s also not a full frame lens, so it will have some vignetting. If you use it on the FF. You can get PL expanders but they are very pricey

This lens on a pocket 6K pro is my A Cam. Lives most of it's life on sticks, with another pocket 6K pro as B Cam shooting with primes most of the time. Highly recommend it. A good shoulder mount kit and EVF make it nice on the shoulder, as long as you are familiar with the obstacles of using a pocket 6K shoulder mounted.

Amazing footage man. I don't understand how you get so little chroma noise in your images, especially in low light conditions. I have the 12K OLPF and denoising is a big step in the post process of everything I capture no matter the lighting conditions. Stoked to watch your next video!

So Canon C300 Mark III + Fujinon XK6x20 is super fine if you want a rig for broadcast television? If you don't wanna these 1 inch super small bad sensors of XF605 or Sony Z200..? And still have those options for live streaming through SDI + servo zoom.. Is there a better combination of a FX9 + some servo zoom that will be literally an all-around capable of being used in most of the cases?
