4:34 @BR yes I too felt the same why sasi went with his daughter after knowing about Karuna? If Karuna is that much bad guy as shown in 2nd half why he is saving sasi in interval portion through soori? The way of narrating the story from samuthrakani POV os boring and doesn't matter if those were chopped. In my personal opinion if chokkan also died in climax it would be more impactful.. Overall very decent above average movie.. it could be even in a better picture if director concentrate more on screenplay dialogue emotions..

Actually unni mukundan saved his brother in law from from sasikumar in interval scene. By cutting his hand, otherwise sasi will kill him.

Sasi knows karuna is a bad guy only just before reaching to meet him. But still he believes his friendship with him and trusted him.

Karuna didn't have the idea to kill aadhi that's why he won't agree with Nagaraj to kill Aadhi while they sketching the plan to take away that land document. This scene comes before the thiruvizha takes place. When aadhi resists to give him away the document, Karuna agreed to kill aadhi and that's why he asked chokan to sit in another car when they enrouted to Kodaikanal. They withdrew the plan after knowing that aadhi will handover the document to them. Karuna didn't expect that aadhi would found the truth behind aapatha's death. Aadhi didn't want chokan to know the truth and that's why he asked chokan to leave the place for sometime. Karuna knew that aadhi will punish him for that. While killing aadhi, karuna says that he will kill whoever comes to expose this truth. This is the actual reason for killing aadhi.

Finally someone with the honest review. I went to watch this movie with my friends, everyone was enjoying the movie, I was the one wondering what is even in the movie to enjoy. No character was properly established. Screenplay was utterly worse. The last 5 minutes before the interval scene was only part where I enjoyed Little bit. If it was directed by a experience director like vetrimaran, this movie would have been much better. Great story but the director failed miserably here.

The movie isn't bad as this guy describes. The father(sasi kumar) didn't have any idea about the old lady's death before he gets closer to his friend. Also soori was sent out of the scenes was not a lazy writing. Sasi Kumar clearly know soori will never let him beat his friend that's why he pushes him to send him away. Also sasikumar had no idea his friend was waiting for him with a bunch of enemies and weapons he thought is was just another meet up with his dear friend. Also the fights were not too exaggerated like leo which this guy mostly praised. And if you think there is a clear writing for every plot holes that he says. I don't have much time to explain it all as I don't get paid by bitching about a good movie like him. The movies main core idea is to show what those bad habits can do to a person. So showing a guy why he is a gambler or a alcoholic is not important, the important idea is how far these habits take them. So for a 2 hour runtime I don't think the movie had any filler or missing back story. For a phycho movie you just say that he is a phycho is enough because human minds are crazy and can go insane at any point of time. In infinity war we don't have a backstory why Thanos kills hald of the population or why he thinks that way. That backstory is not important, the important thing is the character progression and the character unique set of actions which kicks off or alter theb story plot

This movie felt more of a commercial south TN draft of "Garuda Gamana...... " With it's own reasons. But conflict between two friends and one turning into ruthless for wealth / power and ready to kill the other.. with a cop watching them closely who starts and end the narrative😅
