If I don't cry on the last solo, I at least get very heavily teary eyed. Such emotion purveyed through this song.

I wish there was an extended version. I wish some of these licks were added with the DMB Caravan version. They’re both sooooooo good.

In this world of artificial music where the most important is the top ten, no matter if you have talent or not, This is a breath of fresh air. This is a real live music, pure talent here.

yeah and the talented ones get manufactured into generic bullshit. Artists like Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber are all incredibly talented. They just have been consumed by the industry, sold on these dreams of stardom and never became the best musicians they could be and all have suffered in some way. Though, I'm sure they live mostly comfortably and are likely happy with their choice. Fine by me, more underground artists like King Krule or Gary are always there for me.

man i dont want this to end, im a hard core srv and john mayer listener and never really listened to jr clark jr untill maybe the last year or maybe a little more but i gotta say that the feel to this soloing touches my soul, has a deep rooted blues sound but with allot of soul like how some rnb players solo but i know its all blues but i keep playing all the please come homes i can find that jr does and everyone of his solos is different but with the same style of soul and blues sound to it, its great to have a guy like this in our time.

Saw him again the following summer at musikfest in Bethlehem Pennsylvania.. Same deal… Best concert I’ve ever attended… Every live show could be mistaken for a studio recording.. 😁🔥🔥

You all got to watch (listen) to Mr Clark's Guitar Sessions version of this song. For whatever reason it's not listed here but it moved me even more than the above if that's possible. The lyrics are just as heartfelt, but his guitar solo cuts even deeper. I just had to find my way home from some other planet that version sent me to. Lenny Kravitz meets SRV god rest his soul.
