Yea but i was waiting for Conrad baine to introduce himself as Phillip Drummond right as soon as he extends his hand out to greet Will Smith, but he doesn't say anything who he is , how weird, but they could've just made it more proper and evident that they both Gary and Conrad are definitely reprising their Different Strokes character s, i mean yea gary acknowledges Conrad and calls him dad and the lines where Conrad says to Gary you know Arnold those kinds of things were so much funnier when you were a little child and gary replies your jokes were funnier back then too Dad...and gary sort of says close enough to what he says on the pilot first episode of Different Strokes when he says i can get used to living in the land of luxury..but yea a little wierd introducing shaking hands to greet wil smith Will smith introduces him self as the house realter to try and sell the house, It just would've been cool to actually hear Conrad Baine introduce himself as well as he shakes wills hand by saying hello im Phillip Drummond and this is my son Arnold, and what a coincidence Wills uncle Is also named Phillip too, that also could've made a good joke with Conrad by Will saying o No not another Phillip.. and have Uncle Phil come in right as he says that, and have uncle Phil greet Arnold and Mr Drummond.
@snake9911Ай бұрын
@randallagbayani7466 You do have a point. Neither of them introduced themselves to Will when they were looking at the house. It was still great to see them together on another show as the same characters.
@randallagbayani7466Ай бұрын
@snake9911 yea over all nice to see them for a very short brief moment as Arnold and Mr Drummond in their Different Strokes roles, even if they're brief moment cameo was a little bit short and akward with Mr Drummond being non talkative or engaging with Will ..had they ataeast introduced themselves to one another properly when they shook hands or engaged more in a conversation maybe say to Wil that they are just new here from the East Coast n need a home, n what not ,it would've l looked much better.. yea u think cause this scene cameo was just a little bit too short.. in and out really quick and fast out the door when Conrad says bye on to the next house.. in my opinion i thought it should've been a little longer , cause thinking back on it as they did the banks meet the Jefferson s , and they made they're cameo , i think they even had much more to do and say ,than Gary and Conrad had to do , the Jefferson s had more lines to say

This also looked like it could've been a new pilot intro to a crossover semi Tv sitcom spinoff where the two worlds universe of Different Strokes crossing o paths with Fresh Prince of Bel air..and this could've been the pilot episode where they meet n show that they might just be neighbors and wouidve worked out for a new spin off or newer version of continuing their Characters from Different Strokes moving into the area from the East Coast and the world would've fit right in with the Banks due to Mr. DRUMMOND being very wealthy and is used to the life of Luxury and Arnold can be their regular neighbor getting into mischief and adventure's with Carlton and Will.. and Carlton wouldn't have been the only one short and made fun of because of it

How can being born in 2005, can you say you “grow up with that classic line”? That classic line was from the late 1970s. - That would be like me, saying; I grew up with: “asked not what your country can do for you, but what can do for your country” (which happen way before I was born) - For that case, anything that was before 2005 you can say grew up with. For example, you can just say you grew up with, Joey from friends “How ya Doing?” (from the 90s)

Imagine a show running eight years and (in the case of “The Jeffersons”) TEN years and not getting a proper series finale. SMH.

LOL. Non-US viewers may not even know how important the two cameos in quick succession (the Jeffersons and then Mr. Drummond & Arnold) were. They may not even know who those people are and why they are being cheered.

This cameo was classic.

This wasn't just the final episode of Fresh Prince, it was the final episode of ALL black sitcoms, since no black sitcom after this was worth watching. It was poignant that both the Jeffersons and Arnold + Mr. Drummond were on it. It was symbolic as the end of all worthwhile black sitcoms. Decades later, this really did turn out to be the symbolic end of an era.

I agree there was some fantastic sitcoms back then Different strokes, The Cosby show, French prince of bel air, Family Matters , Good Times, Gimme a break. They were fabulous. Sadly sitcom in general have gone down hill I still enjoy these and others but hardly watch much of the stuff thats on TV these days.

Saw "King Richard" the other day, Will Smith did a genius job playing Richard Williams!Also, interested in the upcoming "Live in Front of a Studio Audience" presentation in a few weeks!I think that John Lithgow will make a great Phiillip Drummond, and Damon Wayans will knock it out the park as Willis !And last, but not least, RIP to Conrad Bain and Gary Coleman!
