Went way too soon , unbelievable player , almost supernatural. Devastating live . God , I miss him . R.I.P.

Gary Moore's work on Black Rose by Thin Lizzy is just superb throughout, particularly on the title track.

It was a pleasure and an honour to help out - sorry if the pace of my delivery made editing tricky. Like my guitar playing , I need to learn to slow down! Promise to do better next time! GM was also one of my favourite players - I think 'Run for Cover' was the first of his solo albums that I bought, and I absolutely loved his guitar tone on 'Still got the blues'. Keep up the great output!

I've been a huge Gary Moore fan since right around the time he left Thin Lizzy. So many great tunes. Even most of the "deep cuts" were good, which is not something that can be said for all players. His getting Peter's Les Paul was one of those things that was just meant to be. Unfortunately, that Les Paul now belongs to a player that, in my opinion, can never do it justice. Gary Moore is definitely at the top of the G.O.A.T. list. I still remember the minute I found out about his passing. Definitely a sad day and a major loss. Thanks! Still sending up prayers friend. 👍🙏

Hey Mike and Phil thanks for helping me become more familiar with Garry Moore! I was a huge fan of Thin Lizzy but only became familiar with them after Garry left the band. But speaking of Irish ☘️ guitar legends how about doing a piece on Rory Gallagher! I’m a huge fan of his and did manage to see him live three times before he passed away! Thanks for all the great historical videos on rock and roll legends! They’ve all been wonderful and I will never have seen enough of them! Another thing I would love to see if it’s possible, is you and your daughter Mike! You two make amazing music together! And it’s always been such a special treat to see you perform together! Thanks for all of it! Absolutely love you guy’s!❤💕💞💗🎸🥁🎤🎹🎼👍👏🙌🤘

Mike, Great content mate. Willie D and Gary's voices were so well matched. I have been a G force fan since 1981 when my flavor of the month turned me onto them and ultimately Gary whom I miss so much. But you are looking great mate. Cheers fro m Oregon USA

Gary was a "thug" of a player (meant in the best possible way). Anyone else who dared to play with him would be beaten up and blown off stage by some of the most raw and aggressive playing that you could imagine , all done with an intensity that was counterpoised by the cheeky little grins he would give. There will never be another Gary.

Great video Mike and Phil. I've always been a Gary Moore fan, but I didn't know a lot about him. This video fills in a LOT of details. My love for a sunburst Les Paul and Red 335 were inspired by Gary (and many others) Very cool! Keep up the good work Mike. God bless and rock on 👍😎🎸

Interesting insight into the character of the musician and just goes to show how some individuals struggle on a number of levels with the talent they possess. Gary will always be one of my idols for the music that he created but you still have to wonder how things might have turned out had he remained with Thin Lizzy but sadly we will never know. RIP GM
