While others switched to sweep picking for super fast soloing , Gary took the hammer-on/pull-off techniques to the ultimate speed level ! He had a lot of muscle power in both hands as well.

He was an incredible player. I just started checking out his music. One of the musical traits which I dig is that he takes songs from the greats the allmans, stevie ray, BB king and he does his own twist on them. Obviously, you here the original players sound and style, but he changes a couple of notes and the tempo and it sounds great. Do yourself a favor and if you haven't, listen to "Supernatural" his take on santana. Man, it's the sickest tone and phrasing I have ever heard. Rock on!

It is his signature model...he gave his specifications to Gibson to produce the Garry Moore model but not that there are two different variations of his signature model: one being much better than other other...research it is case you are interesting in buying one.

Yeah, Gary is someone that u can't put to common insults like if u say "he plays fast with no emotion" then show them that thats not all he does, and u can't say he sucks in technique such as fast playing which most does to musicians like BB King cause he too can play fast
