Gary Moore was awesome and his speedy licks are hard to imitate. Good job! His vibrato also defined his style.

Alex, is by far the best at giving lessons, and breaking down the music where it is easy to follow. A fantastic guitar player. Alex, has helped me out several times when I am having trouble. He is a easy going teacher, and easy to follow in his lessons. I can recommend Alex, very highly with confidence... Will

To be honest with you, I don't remember exactly, but I think it was a preset, maybe I tweaked a little bit some parameter, but mostly I use presets.

Wolves Hey, thanks! For the sound, the main thing is to dial in the overdrive-not too much, not too little, it's got to be crunchy. A little bit of reverb and maybe a bit delay. That's it.

At the lick on 5:26 isn't it supposed to be 8 on the b string? Sorry if it's a stupid question I never really learned scales
@GuitarForceCom
@GuitarForceCom 10 жыл бұрын
If you mean 8 instead of 11fret, then no, it's definitely 11-th.
@prsoon
@prsoon 10 жыл бұрын
GuitarForceCom instead of 9 on the b string
@GuitarForceCom
@GuitarForceCom 10 жыл бұрын
I see which part you are talking about. And no, it's still 9-th fret and I'll explain why - by this time the progression goes into Fmin (the 4-th chord), so he plays a Fmin arpeggio (F-A flat-C). Hope that helps.

GuitarForceCom wow i dont have any clue what you're saying lol but still thanks, you should make a video about scales that would be really usefull!

I have a question hoping anyone with more experience than me can help me out here. I am kind of a late beginner can play a few things. I can do an okay version of "blue jean blues" nothing special yet. Here is my question.... I am trying this move where I rake the A and D strings then in that same motion hit the G string at the 9th fret and bend it. The problem is.. I am using my 1st finger to "kill" the A and D strings and my 3rd finger to hit that note on the G string with the bend. However, every time I try it instead of getting that "rake" sound on the A and D strings instead I get a harmonic which I clearly don't want in that spot. If it seems simple to you don't laugh at me. I am still learning, lol. So my question is.... how do I get that rake sound instead of the harmonic? What am I doing wrong here? I am just lightly touching the strings on the A and D to get the rake, but instead get the harmonic. I don't understand the difference in how to hold the finger for the rake versus the harmonic. Anyone out there can help?

Bobby Vaught just mute the strings with your right hand palm, it will allow you to use the three fingers to bend too, good luck learning man!

Almost none of the teachers name the note, but that`s important. Always 5th fret of 5th string.You name the string, it`s a little better. But good tab.
