This masterpiece is an old Irish folk song beautifully revived by the incomparable able Gary Moore and further carried on by Nightwish, now the Epic Dude has elevated it to Highlands Heaven. I really think that you should cover another old Irish folk song, asanother installment in your Spyglass Inn project Danny Boy with a harmonica intro would be perfect. Your harmonica sounds like the traditional bagpipes, and would beautifully accentuate Danny Boy, just it added poignancy to your amazing cover of Amazing Grace.

I had just started watching this clip shortly after it was posted on Facebook. Then...our (whole local area) internet went down for about four hours. Previous to the clip being posted, the song had been running through my mind almost constantly for the past three days! I already loved the song before I first heard you sing it, Dan, back in May 2023, but now I can never seem to get it out of my head at all...don't want to. I commend you for doing a vocally-accurate version of this song, and you did it so well! I enjoy Nightwish's version, but the intent of of the song is to display the man's infidelity with his friends wife, and what he's willing to overcome to be back with the woman again. You voiced that perfectly.
