What makes me prefer your version over the original is the fact that it's more badass, and the reason why is because the original, while phenomenal, has Tarja singing with her regular voice during the chorus, while you can't just replicate the closeness of her sound with a regular singing voice, so you opt into the higher, more powerful Power Metal-ish voice and range, which gives the chorus more resemblance to the original, but also gives it more power.

I really love the original but I like this cover even better. You absolutely nailed it and then some!
